This week we will continue to work through our final chapter, which is all about galaxies and the rest of the “stuff” out there. I have put everything you will need in Schoology. Here are the assignments that I will be grading this week:
1. Galaxy Stations Activity

This activity is going to take a closer look at the three different types of galaxies.
- There are six different “stations” to work through, which involve looking at images, writing your opinion, or sorting facts.
- YOU WILL NEED TO USE YOUR 12.1 NOTES THROUGHOUT THIS ASSIGNMENT!!
- Make sure you complete the entire activity and submit the assignment when you have completed it.
2. 12.2 Review Questions- Types of Galaxies

We will be wrapping-up Chapter 10 with a lunar phases activity. Here are your assignments for the week:

We have reached the end of Chapter 10. Please use this week as an opportunity to double check that you have turned in all four of the chapter review questions and both of the science in the news assignments.

This activity is going to take a closer look at the lunar phases. When you open the activity in Schoology, you will see an image and a link to a CK12 Simulation. Use the image or the simulation to answer the questions.

E-Learning Week 1: 03/16 - 03/19
Our major task for this week of E-learning is to finish the Solar System Video Project. The video project is due by 4:00 pm on Thursday. The project must either be uploaded into the Schoology assignment or uploaded to Google drive and shared with me. Getting the video uploaded and/or shared may take some time, so please do not wait until last minute to start that process.
Everyone is expected to communicate with their group members and assist with the project in any way that they can. If communicating with other group members is not something you can do, then you are welcome to start a new project to be turned in on your own. Everyone can help in some capacity. Ideas for contributions may be making and contributing video clips, editing the video, or developing ideas to improve the finished product.
The final part of this project will be to fill out a form in Schoology to assess both your project and your group members. This is a required form that will appear in Schoology tomorrow. The form should be filled out after your project has been completed and the solar system project reflection form needs to be submitted by each group member individually.
No other homework will be added to integrated science this week, but the video with its reflection assignment is a large project and it is important that you and your group member(s) ensure it is completed before the Thursday deadline.
